FairnessNew Podo Matgo

How the cards are shuffled

  • In game-money rooms, the server creates a new 32-byte secret (the "seed") for every game, using crypto.getRandomValues. The order of the cards in that game comes from this seed alone.
  • Before the game starts, the SHA-256 hash of the seed is fixed and stored in the game record. The same seed always gives the same hash, but the seed cannot be worked out from the hash. Changing the seed after the game has started would change the hash.
  • During a game-money game, a "Hash" box on screen (its position depends on screen size) shows the first 8 characters of the hash fixed when the game opened, for the whole game.
  • When the game ends, open "Receipt · hash check · N moves" on the result screen. It shows the hash fixed when the game opened (its first 8 characters in bold — the same characters as the "Hash" box during play) and the seed revealed at the end. Your browser recalculates the hash of the seed on the spot and shows whether the two match. If they do not, it asks you to contact customer service.
  • What this check confirms is that the seed was not changed after the game started. If you note the 8 characters in the "Hash" box during play, you can match them yourself against the bold 8 characters on the receipt. There is currently no tool on screen for rebuilding the card order from the seed yourself.
  • Cards are dealt the same way whoever is the guest and whoever is the AI: from the shuffled 50 cards, 10 to the guest, 10 to the AI, 8 to the floor, and the rest form the draw pile.
  • The seed and every move are recorded for each game, so a game can be replayed exactly from the start.
  • Practice tables carry no game money; they are shuffled in your browser without this sealing step.

What the AI can see

  • The AI (the fox) chooses its moves from its own hand, the floor, and the cards both players have captured — nothing else. Your hand and the order of the draw pile reach the AI only as face-down placeholders: it knows how many cards there are, not which ones.
  • This uses the same masking function that prepares what your own screen receives, in game-money rooms and practice tables alike.

Why bonus cards (often called "jokers") show up on the AI's side

New Podo Matgo has two bonus cards (a double-pi and a triple-pi bonus card). There are rule-based reasons they often appear in the AI's captured cards.

  1. A bonus card on the opening floor goes to the lead player (seon). If a bonus card is dealt to the floor at the start, the lead player takes it and one card from the draw pile refills the floor to 8. The official Hangame and Pmang guides describe the same rule.
  2. The winner of a game leads the next one (the first game's lead is chosen at random). So whoever wins more often leads more often, and takes opening-floor bonus cards more often.
  3. The AI plays a bonus card as soon as it receives one, so the AI's bonus cards move straight into its captured row. If you keep a bonus card in your hand, it is not shown until you play it. The AI's hand is never drawn on screen — only the number of cards. On a phone in portrait view, a bonus card just below the AI's seat is one the AI has already captured.

Simulation (same rules engine · 200 consecutive games · seeds from 15 · identical on two runs)

(1) 200 games with the same AI in both seats — the identical AI sat in both seats. Games won: AI seat 109 · guest seat 89 · no-score (nagari) 2.

  • With equal skill, the number of games in which a bonus card appears is nearly the same (140 vs 139). In opening hands the guest seat had slightly more (82 vs 78).

(2) Supporting table: leading more often means more opening-floor bonus cards — the same 200 seeds, with only the guest seat changed to an automatic player that plays any legal card at random (the AI seat unchanged).

  • The side that wins more leads more (138 vs 62), and because the lead takes opening-floor bonus cards, that count widens too (44 vs 23). When a guest wins more games, the same rule gives the guest more leads and more opening-floor bonus cards.
  • This is one batch of 200 games; the figures shift slightly with a different number of games.

Screens added on 16 October 2026

From 16 October 2026 the following appear on screen (practice tables and game-money rooms alike; the hash box in game-money rooms only).

  • Lead bonus animation: if a bonus card is on the floor when the game opens, it flies from the floor to the lead player's captured cards, and a blue notice — "Lead bonus +2 pi" (double-pi bonus card), "+3 pi" (triple-pi) or "+5 pi" (both) — appears once. (On screen in Korean: «선 보너스 +N피».)
  • "Lead" marker: a bonus card taken as the lead bonus carries a small «선» (lead) marker in the captured row (on narrow landscape screens it reads like «선+3», with the pi count). If that card is taken away by a pi steal, the marker goes with it.
  • Bonus card source line on the result screen: at the end of a game, one line shows who got each bonus card and how — for example «조커 · 여우 +3피 선 보너스 · 여우 +2피 더미 뒤집기» ("Joker · Fox +3 pi lead bonus · Fox +2 pi from the draw pile"). The source is one of: lead bonus · played from hand · draw pile · steal.
  • "Hash" box: in game-money games, the first 8 characters of the hash fixed when the game opened stay on screen for the whole game — the same characters shown in bold on the receipt afterwards.

  • Double TopArcade

    How to play

DOUBLE TOP — Take 501 down to exactly zero, finishing on a double.

    • Controls: tap or click anywhere, or press Space / Enter.
    • The first press stops the across marker, the second stops the up marker. The dart lands where they cross.
    • 3 darts per visit, one leg, 45 darts maximum.
    • You must finish on a double or the bull (50).
    • Go below zero, leave 1, or hit zero without a double and it's BUST — that visit's score is undone.
    • If you don't press within 8 seconds, the dart is thrown for you.
    • Your score is your 3-dart average, ×1.15 if you check out. Bust darts still count as thrown.
    • No luck: the dart lands exactly where you stop. It can miss the board.
    • Score only — nothing is staked. Leave mid-game and it is not recorded.
